A Pinoy in Canada: Winter In Prince George!

Thousands of years ago during primitive transportation, Confucius had to say that "his journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step".
But today, I'd say that my journey of a thousand miles begins...with a call to my travel agent! Ha-ha-ha!
So, I called Judy of Unique Travel in Itaewon and asked her to give me quotes for a ticket to Prince George in British Columbia, Canada, which is not just a thousand miles away, but about 4,720 nautical miles from Incheon International Airport.
Why Prince George?

Well, my friend, Brenda, whom I met in Seoul, lives in Prince George. And before she flew back to PG, she told me that I should visit her there!
And I did!
So off I flew to Canada, stopped over at the chaotic Vancouver International Airport and hopped into a domestic flight to PG!
Escaping the freezing temperatures of Seoul, I was warned it would be colder in PG!  And it was!
So even though I was greeted with -27'C winds when I stepped out of the Air Canada flight at PG Airport, I loved it there!  Why? Bree's home has a real chimney!  With real chopped wood to fire it up! I loved the smell of a spruce tree in her basement where the fireplace was.
The countryside, the forests, the sceneries, the ice skating, Bree's Canadian breakfasts, Maureen's home-made pizzas, and most of all, the people! And Tim Horton's!
And of course, the view of the iconic Canadian Rockies!
Thanks to Brenda, Oliver, Maureen and Adrian! I definitely should go back to Prince George....in the summer!
