She was just playing her piano piece under the spring sun, unmindful of other kids running and shouting around her.
Like most Korean children, she must have had piano lessons when she was little, and now, on an upright studio piano, that is painted with notes and some bright colors, this girl was having a concierto of her own, caring less if had a hundred-member audience or none.
Since outdoor acoustics are usually poor, I could not make out her piece whether it was a Beethoven, a Bach, or a Tchaikovsky. Who knows, it could have been a Rachmaninoff!
But thanks to this piano girl (and her piano teacher!) playing in front of the Uijeongbu Arts Center, we have our musical photo of the day.
